Do I need an account?
No. Garage Minder uses your iCloud account to sync privately across your devices. There is no separate login. If you are not signed in to iCloud, the app still works with data stored on your device.
Where is my data stored?
In your own private iCloud database, or locally on your device. It is never sent to the developer. You can export everything as JSON or CSV from Settings.
What does Garage Minder Pro include?
The free version includes one vehicle with every feature. Pro unlocks unlimited vehicles — available as a one-time Lifetime purchase or an annual subscription. iCloud sync is included free in both.
I subscribed — how do I switch to Lifetime?
Open Settings in the app and choose Upgrade to Lifetime. Existing subscribers get a reduced price. After upgrading, cancel your annual plan from Manage Subscription so it stops renewing.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Open Settings and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with.
Are the AI-generated schedules accurate?
They are a starting point generated on your device, not a substitute for your owner's manual. Always verify intervals and fluid specs against the manufacturer's recommendations. Every generated item is editable.
How do I manage or cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple Account: Settings app → your name → Subscriptions, or from within Garage Minder's Settings via Manage Subscription.
